Plein Air: Once again the region’s most accomplished plein air painters will gather in Northport, Long Island for the Northport Arts Coalition’s 3^rd Annual Plein Air Painting Event. On Friday and Saturday, June 26^th and 27^th, selected artists will be set up in locations throughout the village, painting their interpretations of the scenery that is so unique to Northport. On both days spectators can observe the creative process from start to finish and talk with the artists as they work. Sunday, June 28th, will feature an exhibition and silent auction for the “wet” paintings at LaMantia Gallery. Interested artists please find prospectus on our web site, www.northportarts.org .

Danskinetics in Northport. Many thanks to the Danskinetics dancers who performed brilliantly at the May 13^th N.A.C Wednesday event at the Northport Library. Special thanks to Matthew Pierce who accompanied the dancers with his magic violin and to the great audience that danced with us at the end of the program. It was a very joyful time enjoyed by everyone in attendance. Danskinetics classes meet on Thursdays at 10:00am at the Posey School of Dance, 57 Main St, Northport. New adult students are always welcome. NO dance or Yoga experience necessary to join the class.
