Artist Opportunity! Alley Cat Art is a wonderful opportunity for the talented and entrepreneurial artists to help create a new gallery/exhibit/event space on Main Street in Northport. This unique space has both indoor and outdoor exhibit space and offers artists the solution to the escalating overhead cost of operating a retail business. This concept is the answer for artists that are start-ups, expanding, or downsizing. By joining together, the start up costs and the day-to-day operating cost are part of the investment that can be provided. Some of these costs include utilities, staffing, building and equipment repairs, sales tax, advertising, promotions, and hosting customer events. Otherwise, you provide the art and we provide the rest! Artists will be able to exhibit in a consistent location that is not dependent on weather or the travel, setup and expense of art shows. More importantly there is no burden of a lease. Artists can exhibit for a month or a year! It is located in the Primary High Traffic Walking Loop from the harbor to Gunter’s Tap Room that includes four excellent restaurants and the ice cream parlor. Alley Cat is inviting artists who are looking to market their art at this location to discuss the possibilities. Please contact Lee Holcomb Email: lholcomb@optonline.net
